Every book begins in a different place. Some authors need help organizing a finished draft. Others need research, writing, expansion, editing, formatting, or complete guidance through Amazon KDP.
We review each project individually, determine the scope of work, and provide a clear written quote before services begin. After the author accepts the quote, CVF Books & Publications sends a secure Stripe invoice and payment link for the required deposit, installment, or full payment. Production begins after payment is confirmed and the required manuscript files, notes, instructions, and other project materials have been received. Authors remain involved throughout the process and retain final approval over their work.

Depending on the publishing and distribution method selected, a book may also become available for ordering through additional booksellers, libraries, independent bookstores, and other retail channels.

A book may be listed for sale through major retailer websites when the selected publishing and distribution method supports that availability.
Bookstore ordering
Appropriate distribution options may make a title eligible to be ordered by bookstores, libraries, and other approved retail accounts.
Physical store decisions
Each retailer independently decides whether to stock a title on shelves in a particular physical location.
Local opportunities
Consignment, author events, signings, and local promotions are arranged directly with individual stores and organizations.
Availability does not guarantee physical shelf placement
Online retail availability is different from placement on the shelves of an individual physical bookstore. CVF Books & Publications can help authors consider distribution options that may make a book eligible for retailer or bookstore ordering, but we cannot guarantee that Barnes & Noble, an independent bookstore, a library, or another retailer will accept, purchase, stock, promote, or sell a title.
Physical shelf placement, local consignment arrangements, author events, book signings, and store-specific promotional opportunities are determined independently by each retailer. Authors may pursue those opportunities directly, and CVF Books & Publications can provide reasonable preparation or guidance when that assistance is included in the selected services and approved written quote.
